6th European Congress of CFM The renewal of through the spiritual renewal of families
Hungary, July 20-24th 2009 la versión espanola véase abajo The 6th European Congress of CFM will take place at Pannonhalma, a sacred place for Hungarians for more than a thousand years. Both Prince Géza, who selected the location for the monks to settle there in 996, and King Saint Stephen were convinced that the great bishop of Tours, Saint Martin was born near this "Sacred Mountain". The centre of the Hungarian Benedictine Congregation, the Archabbey is a place of encounter: an encounter with God, with others, with the past and the present. It is the very place for considering and discussing the renewal of Europe. To know more about the location, please visit the website of Pannonhalma This July Pannonhalma will present not only 1000 years of the history of the Church and the Hungarian people, but also an insight into the present life of families strengthened by a young and dynamic CFM and FIRES. Time: July 20-24th 2009 (Monday to Friday) with bus transfer from Budapest to Pannonhalma on the 20th and back to Budapest on the 24th.
The main spiritual guideline will be presented in three main talks by Msgr. László Bíró, Bishop for the Family, Hungarian Catholic Bishops Conference.

• Our mission in and with the family. The spiritual message will be followed by talks by three professional speakers: • Bertalan Andrásfalvy (ethnographer, past Hungarian Minister of Culture): National values in families;
• Prof. Mária Kopp (Director of Institute of Behavioural Sciences, Semmelweis University of Medicine): Large families' value added in society;

Hungría, del 20 al 24 de julio, 2009. El 6º. Congreso Europeo del MFC tendrá lugar en Pannonhalma, un lugar sagrado para los húngaros por más de mil años. Tanto el Príncipe Géza, que escogió el lugar para el establecimiento de los monjes en el 996, y el Rey San Esteban estaban convencidos que el gran obispo de Tours, San Martín, nació cerca de estas “Sagradas Montañas”. El Centro de la Congregación Benedictina, la Archiabadía, es un lugar de encuentro; un encuentro con Dios, con otros, con el pasado y con el presente.
